  • RIS Inspection Policy:

    Operating Days: Inspections are conducted Monday through Thursday.


    Inspection Request Received Before 3:00 p.m. on weekdays: Priority scheduling for the next business day (or a requested date).


    Inspection Request Received After 3:00 p.m. on weekdays: Automatically scheduled for the 2nd available business day (or a requested date).

    • The following inspections may be requested without an existing RIS permit:

      • Blower Door Test
      • Duct-Leakage Test
      • Rental Inspection
      • Pre-Purchase Inspection
      • Electrical Service Inspection
      • Solar Final (Available without an RIS permit in certain municipalities)

      If your inspection request is not associated with an RIS permit number, enter 0000 in the Permit Number field. 

    • Please review the required inspections listed on your permit.

      If “Electrical Service" is not listed, payment will be required before this additional inspection can be scheduled.

    • Did you complete the City of Farrell paperwork with the City before requesting this inspection?*

      Rental and Pre-Purchase Inspections located within the City of Farrell require City authorization before RIS can accept your inspection request.
